Long before using his PhD in Radar Photonics to conquer the Wild West, Conor showed up to the very same student orientation group that Fazal did at the University of Delaware. Sharing an undergraduate major, a love for Pokémon battles, and a desire to be better, the two formed an all-time alliance that spans the continental United States.

Edwin and Fazal couldn’t escape being great friends after their tenure on UD Men’s Crew, finishing off every year of college rowing in the same boat. Their love of food and entertaining friends have kept them together since then, tearing up the streets of northern Delaware whenever they find time.

Local urban legend Hispanic Thunder stirred up rumors and controversy around him at the University of Delaware, ask anyone. It’s heard that he lived with Fazal for four years straight during college (longest ever outside of immediate family!)(that’s intimate). HT is personally responsible for getting Fazal into rowing and has become a lifelong friend since.

Old Man Garrett (married to the Maid of Honor over on the other side of the aisle) has become a rarer sight around these parts due to raising the next President of the United States. Even still, he hasn’t lost his touch, always knowing how to turn good times into great times. Garrett and Fazal have gotten into numerous hijinks over the years that we’ll leave out of this section in case Eliana figures out how to read too fast.

Kate’s silliest cousin David has always been a welcoming friend to Fazal. His youthfully optimistic demeanor keeps everyone around him young, and he’s up for any challenge as well! That’s why he promptly offered to be our Officiant for the big day, and we were happy to give him the job! (Just as long as he practiced his speech in front of Grandma Pelishek.) Love what you see?
